EXPERIENCE BALESTRAND AND THE BEAUTIFUL ESEFJORD AND SOGNEFJORD BY KAYAK

The tour takes you along the shoreline into the beautiful Esefjord, with Mount Vindreken (4130 feet/1259 meters), Mount Tjugatoten (3602 feet/1098 meters) and Mount Keipen (4678 feet/1426 meters) rising up from the Esefjord. We then head out to the long and deep Sognefjord, where the scenery opens up and gives you a different feeling, and you can enjoy the view of Balestrand village and the fjords.

The changing light and mood of the fjord can often be magical, especially in changing weather conditions. Kayaking in the fjords on a rainy day with low clouds can be a great experience, especially in calm conditions.

You have the option between very stable double kayaks or single kayaks. We will do our best to provide you with a kayak that fits your size and experience level, so that you can have a great experience. Children (7 years +) will be in a double kayak with a parent/adult. The guide can allow for larger children to paddle a single kayak dependent on size, experience and weather conditions.

If you have no previous kayaking experience we will give you instructions before and during the tour.
